The Community Foundation NI

We are delighted to announce that we have received funding under the Micro Community Investment Fund at The Community Foundation NI. Click on photo for details of the funders website. Through this we hope to deliver Yarn for Mental Health programs for people with anxiety or depression in the Fermanagh & Omagh and Ards & North Down Council areas.

The Empowering Women Fund, part of the Labyrinth Project run by Solace.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded funding to deliver 2 blocks of 6 weeks of taught classes for 15 participants each time. The classes will teach yarn related skills along with therapeutic sessions in mindfulness, stress management and relaxation to improve and promote maintenance of mental health for women who have experienced domestic violence.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund

We are extremely grateful to have been awarded funding to provides some workshops and taster sessions in basic and intermediate knitting and crochet skills, punch needle, spinning and weaving. This funding will also support the purchase of basic spinning and weaving equipment to allow people to trial these skills at our premises and events.

UnLtd Award

We have gained so much insight into the running of a Social Enterprise through our UnLtd Award. This award allows us to access devoted mentors and workshops and also provided invaluable set up costs towards our premises and equipment.
